Hale - The Rise of the Griffins

REVIEW OF FREE COPY

The review of ‘Hale - The Rise of the Griffins’ by J K Noble has taken me from more child-friendly, educational literature to my favourite genre…Fantasy!

Synopsis:

Hale grows up thinking he is a normal boy, but when his parents get murdered and him and his sister get kidnapped and tortured, he slowly learns that nothing could be further from the truth. Hale is a griffin and we follow him as he slowly discovers the truth about his family and where he came from. Interwoven are the storylines of Griffin Elder Greon, Marcus, a griffin with the power of Prophecy, and Ellionna, who is the vessel for a siren which all eventually come together.

Review:

This one was right up my street! I actually find it very tricky to write a review without any spoiler alerts. This is a well-written novel with a complex plot that keeps you on your toes and ends…in a cliffhanger!! Good that it’s so cold outside at the moment, a good reason to snuggle up and enter into these 300 pages that make up Hale’s world. This is for anyone who likes mystical creatures, magic and travelling through strange parallel worlds. Can’t recommend this enough and am off to buy the next book ‘Hale - The Prophet’s Journal’ as I just need to know how this continues. Let me know what you think in the comments.
